Colombia coffee production July 2015 : Colombia’s coffee output reached 1.46 million 60-kilo (132-lb) sacks last month, an improvement of 18 percent compared with July 2014, the National Coffee Growers Association, or FNC, said.

The yield-per-hectare (2.2 acres) in July was 16 sacks, the second-highest in 15 years, the FNC said. olombia, the world’s largest provider of mild Arabica coffee, exported 1.22 million sacks of the bean last month, up 30 percent from July 2014.

FNC said that between August 2014 and July 2015 Colombia produced a total of 13.1 million bags, up 12 percent from the preceding 12-month period.
